Fantastic product and fantastic service

Love the design and obvious comfort for my horse. I gave four stars because I expected the interchangeable pads to be real sheep’s wool and on all three leather parts not just the breast section. I ordered the interchangeable leather for the girth which is very nice and padded. When I brought up that they advertised it as real sheep wool, they blew it off which wasn’t really the right way to handle that.

I bought this girth because the idea seemed to fit the latest research. I had watched a saddle fit webinar and the most up to date information on girthing seemed to match this girth. However I can only say it did not perform as expected and the saddle tipped forward and sideways and caused the rider to fall off. Whether this is a saddle problem which has never shown itself with the standard girth I use or whether its just not tightening the girth in the right way I cannot comment. And would not on one attempt want to criticise the girth.
I would like to ask In All the illustrations I saw of the girth it had fleece pads one to each side and in the sternum position. The girth I got only had a fleece pad at the sternum position and it only has a leather padded area to each side but no fleece pads. I wondered if this was correct for how the girth is supposed to come. I know you can buy separate fleece pads so I assumed it was but for a young inexperienced rider I don t want to risk trying it again. It was fine at straight forward walk and trot but this was during a quite steep down hill. I will at some stage try it again but I like that its the most affordable of this style of girth.

Such a well made girth, my boy used to be a bit girth when I saddled him up, but he has settled down a lot now since I started using this girth. Highly recommend
