Nice quality leather. My horse loves it. Does not get in the way of the horse’s shoulders when jumping.

Once I made all the adjustments and got it fitted properly it works great. My horse doesn’t notice it, saddle doesn’t slip,works as intended.

I purchased the Free Motion Breastplate for my Holsteiner gelding when several of the high end breastplates I’ve tried would allow the saddle to shift and the breastplate would become too tight and restrictive as I rode. It remains loose and comfortable throughout my ride but the saddle never moves. I loved it so much I bought another one for my second gelding. Both flat and jump in the Free Motion Breastplate. If you are between sizing options, I recommend sizing down.

And I must say that if your a rider who struggles with maintaining your balance this double strap is invaluable, because as you trot holding on , the strap will keep you so well balanced that your horse feels it and it really boosts your confidence in the saddle making it a lot more fun to trot
I am a very lightweight rider and my horse is a bit choppy with a big stride so rising trot is not so easy to do now but since I got this strap it’s now sooo much fun that he offers to canter because he feels that I am balanced ! So yes I would highly recommend this product
The breast collar is also fabulous for your wide shouldered deep chested horse and it looks fabulous together.
