those reins are not slipping anywhere . I continue riding with gardening gloves and those soft flexible reins are so easy to use. my horse is annoyed. when we pick up canter the reins dont slip and he doesn't get a break.
I’m using these reins on my 4 year old and it’s helping me keep the contact a bit steadier , I have a habit of letting reins slip longer rather than allowing my hands to go fwd . They are quite thick . Only downside is the dull colour of rubber , probably not fancy enough for competition however it didn’t stop me lol
